Come and celebrate Roald Dahl’s birthday at the museum and in Roald Dahl’s garden.

From 11am – 5pm join us in the Museum for story telling - a chance to meet the dastardly farmers - Boggis, Bunce and Bean. Face painting and craft activities, behind the scenes burrowing into the archives and celebratory treats from Café Twit.

Between 2pm-5pm visit Roald Dahl’s garden and see the writing hut where Roald Dahl wrote his stories, visit the gypsy caravan that inspired Danny the Champion of the World, Explore the children's maze and relax with tea and homemade cake.

Nearest major road is M40. Great Missenden is on the A413 between Amersham and Wendover and is well signposted. At weekends only cars may be parked at Great Missenden station, at other times parking is in the pay and display car park 5 minutes away.
