Visit Thanet in Kent for a day at the seaside that is sure to be little on cost but big on memories – a great place to visit for memorable days out for toddlers this year.  Thanet is made up of the three main sea-side towns of Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate and a multitude of bays.  The beaches are so good they have won themselves ten Blue Flag awards - making them some of the best in the world.

Finally, the little ones will love the animal farm at Village Life in Berkshire, at the Old Shire Horse Centre in Maidenhead, Berkshire.  The old stable blocks are now craft and gift shops and a café and the courtyard has been covered and holds events such as face painting, perfect for fun filled days out for toddlers.  Go through into the farm to see the animals; pigs, ponies, peacocks, alpacas, goats. There’s also a toy museum, play area, bouncy castle and cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs to pet.
